Judges have shortlisted Alex Perez-Bunce as a finalist for Bricklaying Apprentice of the Year at The ABC Awards 2024.
With just a few weeks to go, until we find out who wins, we thought it would be great to showcase each apprentice, and celebrate their achievements.

What does Bricklaying mean to you and why did you choose to become a Bricklayer?
“Being a bricklayer means more to me than just a a weekly payslip, it’s a way for me to express myself, and It’s a form of art. I became an apprentice specifically in brickwork because I wanted to have skills and work which can speak for themselves. It’s more than a job, and the people I’ve had the privilege of working with make it more evident that I’ve made the right career choice.”
